Job summary

Talentigence™ is seeking an experienced Accountant in Dubai to strengthen our finance team. The role oversees daily accounting operations, maintains accurate financial records, and ensures VAT compliance within the construction and engineering sector.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience, proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, and strong analytical and communication skills. UAE residence preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in construction, contracting, engineering, glass & aluminum, or façade industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Residence in UAE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities and financial operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger balancing.
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
• Handle VAT accounting, filing, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and financial regulations.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
