About the role

The UAE Commercial Manager (OTC) will manage OTC & Wellness distributors in the market as well as the Key Account Managers to deliver profit and growth to the UAE business and implement future strategy and Route to Market, driving excellence in execution through distributor sales teams.

Key responsibilities
  1. Be a key role in the commercial organization, accelerating growth and profit for UAE and the region by unlocking sales opportunities and driving Net Revenue Management.
  2. Deliver growth through collaboration with distributors on different portfolios, ensuring growth from the most profitable SKUs.
  3. Lead relationships with pharmacy key accounts to foster partnerships and unlock growth opportunities, utilizing the Customer Growth Framework segmentation. Coach and mentor KAMs to manage and upgrade relationships.
  4. Identify portfolio mix opportunities and develop strategies for accelerated growth on high-profit SKUs, including pricing initiatives for margin enhancement.
  5. Manage all business-related interactions with distributors (quality, audit, finance, supply chain, etc.) and oversee distributor end-to-end processes (agreements, screening, commercial terms, field force, etc.).
  6. Expand OTC & Wellness business across tender, private, hospitals, and understand the UAE insurance landscape to increase channel penetration.
  7. Manage overall spend and G2N within budget, ensuring ROI for activation activities.
  8. Own the OTC/Wellness forecast for the UAE market and ensure alignment between distributors and Haleon Supply Chain.
  9. Ensure governance on commercial hygiene and adherence to policies (ATTP/TSF).
