Job Description
Primarily, the Brand Manager is responsible for building & executing comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans that align with integrated dermatology strategy and contribute to the overall Marketing, Sales strategy, and broader marketing mix (HCP, consumer & trade). He/she is responsible for strong and timely execution and strong partner to Marketing Manager, Sales teams and his/her marketing team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive the development and monitoring of annual business plans and programs that will maximize HCP professional endorsement, market penetration and product profitability while aligning to the objectives of the broader business.
Activate brand company resources, policies and activities that relate to the physician, consumer, government, and clinics to drive professional recommendations of Galderma product or prescriptions of product.
Champion the physician’s, consumer’s, government, and payers’ point of view to drive recommendations.
Foster strong productive relationships with professional organizations and key opinion leaders
Lead the implementation of professional programs including product advertising, detailing, sampling, working with GAIN Medical Education Manager to align on all medical educational events and materials from the marketing perspective (trainings, congresses, events and workshops) and promotional activities; and evaluate their effectiveness
Partner with internal departments and the professional sales force to develop core messaging and sales action plans.
Identify and recommend New Business Opportunities and innovative approaches
Plan and align with stakeholder and Manage marketing budgets & forecast targets with Business Unit head ,teams. and phasing A&P budget with finance partner and monitoring the actual spend vs plan to ensure efficient spend inline with the approved budget.
Throughout all activities; the BM must ensure 100% compliance with Galderma code of ethics & SOPs.
Closely coordinate with Sales teams to play a strong role in planning and ensuring marketing campaigns to support Sales execution.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Represent the company at congresses and events
Comply with all regulations & internal Galderma policies regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.
Adhere to related laws, regulations, Galderma Code of Ethics, and any other applicable Codes and SOPs.
Ensure compliance to Galderma policies and procedures
Ensures excellent medical knowledge related to his/her disease area and product.
Consistently have an integrated dermatology strategy mindset and utilize in day to day roles & responsibilities in current role.
Train the team based on marketing materials, strategy of the market messages ,new launches and new campaigns work closely with Sales manager to make sure implementation of the messages through to market .
Evaluate team knowledge of product
Develop local strategy of digital marketing content and plans ,execution, alignment with internal SOPs and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 5 - 7 years Marketing experience from pharmaceutical industry (and/or FMCG for Cx roles). Additional Sales experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing or Science. MBA is an asset
English (Written & Spoken), Arabic preferred.
Strong understanding of the medical & regulatory environment is required
Understanding of the ME Healthcare system is a requirement.
