Job summary

SKMA GROUP FOR ACCOUNTING AND TAX CONSULTING in the UAE is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily transactions, post entries and invoices, and perform bank reconciliations for multiple clients.

The role includes preparing UAE VAT returns, financial statements, and assisting with month-end or year-end closings. You will use Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Excel in a hybrid environment with four days in office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Must currently reside in the UAE with a valid residence visa under existing sponsorship and be eligible for the appropriate work permit.

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, sales invoices, purchase invoices, and expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Manage bookkeeping activities for multiple clients.
• Assist in preparing UAE VAT returns and Corporate Tax calculations.
• Prepare trial balances, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and assist with necessary adjustments.
• Maintain and organize financial documents and supporting records.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures.
• Work with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
• Complete assigned accounting tasks accurately and within deadlines.
