Job summary

Happiness Lounge Government Transactions Center L.L.C is seeking an accounting professional in Dubai to manage daily bookkeeping, maintain VAT records, and produce monthly reports. You will handle payables, receivables, and general ledger entries while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with UAE regulations.

The role requires 1–3 years of UAE accounting experience, strong MS Excel and accounting software skills, and excellent numerical and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• • Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and FTA requirements.
• • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• • Good numerical and analytical skills.
• • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• • UAE accounting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions
• Handle daily bookkeeping
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• General ledger entries
• Perform bank cash and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports
• Monitor receivables and payables and outstanding balances
• Collections actions
• Prepare and maintain VAT records and assist with UAE VAT return filing and FTA compliance
• Verify invoices, receipts, payments and supporting documents
• Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense management
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Assist with budgeting and cash-flow monitoring
• Provide financial analysis and coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers and other external parties
