Job Title: Tyre Technician

To carry out effective and efficient repair and maintenance of customer vehicles and tyre repair machines following approved manufacturers repair techniques.

Job Requirements
Education/Certification and Continued Education
  • Diploma in Automotive Engineering
  • Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) certified Auto Technician Course
Years of Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Tyre Technician
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
  • Collect job orders and carry out all tyre-related jobs using specialized equipment.
  • Service personal tools and equipment, keep the work area clean, and comply with health and safety standards.
  • Calibrate equipment periodically to ensure accuracy of results.
  • Upgrade software and data in alignment machines as new vehicle models arrive.
  • Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective use of repair time.
  • Report delays due to unavailability of parts or equipment to the Team Leader.
  • Keep used tyres and rims in designated locations and report to the manager for disposal as per company policy.
  • Maintain safety of personal tools; report breakages or accidents immediately.
  • Maintain productivity above 100% efficiency.
  • Work extra hours if necessary to complete jobs and ensure customer satisfaction, as directed by the Team Leader.
