Job description

The purpose of this job is to be part of Istituto Marangoni Dubai's teachers education team, teaching the subjects ICT Lab and Information Technology Fundamentals applied to fashion management and luxury industries.

As a teacher, you'll also be involved in broader enterprise course administration and development in your area of expertise.

You will use this activity both in your teaching and in supporting educational partners to develop teaching-engaged practice.

Key Purpose of the Job

Requested Area of Expertise:

• UI Design
• Visual Design Principles
• Excel and Advanced Excel Statistics for Business
• Advanced use of Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive)
• Collaborative Tools (Trello, Miro)

Teaching Activities

• Plan and deliver the subjects through a clear and appropriate approach towards students, compliant with CAA standards. Draw up Course File Structure.
• Prepare teaching materials for assigned units according to Istituto Marangoni guidelines and instructions from the local Director of Education and Programme Leader.
• Engage with the academic and creative culture of the School through participation in School and Company projects, lectures, and events to foster innovation.
• Perform course management and administrative duties supporting learning, teaching, and individual scholarly development in complex contexts.

Students' Academic Support

• Develop students' learning progress, monitor their approach, experience, and developmental stages.
• Enhance students' creativity, passion, and problem-solving skills via group work, field trips, and industry projects.
• Ensure students receive timely guidance and support for their academic and pastoral development.
• Assess students' progression through formative and summative assessments during the academic year.
• Maintain relationships with international lecturers, students, staff, and contribute to academic development.

Industry Project

• Foster engagement with relevant industries, organizations, and professional bodies to develop opportunities for the School.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Master's Degree in one or more of the specified expertise areas.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at an international institution (university level).
• Education qualification equivalency from the UAE Ministry of Education.
• Experience teaching students of various age groups and skill levels (undergraduate).
• Experience creating educational materials and extracurricular activities aligned with curriculum objectives.
