Overview

Cost Manager role at Turner & Townsend. SCOPE: Price Supervisors support our cost management across varying types and sizes of projects, in pre-contract estimating or post-contract on site. The role involves delivering an efficient cost management solution from pre-contract to construction completion and ensuring client objectives are met.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Cost Manager, taking responsibility for designated projects.
  • Deliver superb service to clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation.
  • Ensure client objectives are met through the delivery of a reliable cost management solution from pre-contract to construction completion.
  • Carry out pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations, final accounts, and related tasks.
  • Prepare and present cost estimates and the final cost strategy.
  • Collaborate with the design services team in the development of cost estimates.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • MRICS accreditation or membership is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of the building and construction market and technical issues.
  • Experience with CostX; BIM experience is an advantage.
