Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CQT/CQM/CRE or Six Sigma Black Belt or NDE Level III certification required.
• Travel up to 40% and ability to perform supplier audits and reviews.
• Develop and maintain supplier quality plans, procedures, and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site QMS audits and risk assessments of potential suppliers.
• Evaluates supplier capability to provide quality parts on time per requirements.
• Develops and maintains quality plans and component plans for standard parts.
• Drives supplier corrective actions using root cause analyses and 8D tools.
• Reviews customer specs and provides EEE comments on quality, inspection, testing.
• Leads supplier quality system audits and supplier pre-inspection meetings.
• Coordinates source inspections and NCR disposition processes.
