Job summary

Elliott in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of all products, including purchased parts, through review of specifications, development of quality plans, and supplier audits.

The role involves on-site audits, collaboration with supply chain and project teams, and approximately 40% travel to supplier locations to verify conformance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field plus minimum five years’ experience (or associate degree with 10+ years).
• ASQ CQE, CQA, CQT, CQM, CRE, Six Sigma Black Belt or NDE Level III certification preferred/required.
• Travel up to 40% to supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site QMS audits and risk assessments of potential suppliers.
• Evaluates supplier capability to provide quality parts on time and to requirements.
• Supports development of a strong supplier base through audits and engagement.
• Drives corrective actions using root cause analysis, 8D, and QARs.
• Reviews customer specifications and provides comments and exceptions to quality-related items.
• Develops and maintains quality and component plans for standard parts.
• Writes and issues procedures to meet quality initiatives.
• Leads audits of supplier and EEE quality systems and processes.
• Prevents recurring problems via corrective actions.
