Responsibilities

• Negotiate credit lines and banking terms to optimize financing.
• Coordinate financing of international oil and commodity trading.
• Monitor working capital, payment schedules, and funding needs.
• Review trade documents and ensure timely settlement of instruments.
• Oversee FX and interest-rate exposure with senior management.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, sanctions and internal controls.
• Prepare treasury and facility-utilization reports and financial analysis.

Treasury & Trade Finance Manager

A fast-growing international oil trading company is looking for an experienced Treasury & Trade Finance Manager to join its team in Dubai, UAE.

This is a key position responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, banking relationships, trade finance facilities, and financial risks while supporting complex international trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positions, liquidity planning, and short- and long-term cash-flow forecasting
• Arrange and administer trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections
• Maintain and develop relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Negotiate and optimize credit lines, borrowing facilities, pricing, and banking terms
• Coordinate the financing of international oil and commodity trading transactions
• Monitor working-capital requirements, payment schedules, and funding needs
• Review trade documentation and ensure the timely issuance and settlement of financial instruments
• Manage foreign-exchange and interest-rate exposure in coordination with senior management
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, banking requirements, KYC, AML, and applicable sanctions regulations
• Prepare treasury reports, facility-utilization reports, and financial analysis for management
• Work closely with the Trading, Operations, Finance, Credit, Legal, and Compliance teams

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in treasury and trade finance
• Experience within oil and gas, energy, commodity trading, or a physical trading environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of international trade finance products and banking documentation
• Solid understanding of cash management, working capital, financial risk, and credit facilities
• Experience working with international banks and managing complex cross-border transactions
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent command of English
• Fluency in Russian is mandatory
