Treasury Manager

Job Purpose

To assist the VP Finance, manage the liquidity of the business, banking operations and the overall cash management function of the Group. Supervise the day-to-day cash management and Working Capital position of the Group. The job requires coordination with the Regional Finance teams with good judgement and prudence to ensure that cash assets are safeguarded as per company policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

1. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports concerning the availability of cash balances, projections and cash forecast.
2. Prepare short-term cash flow forecast paying high attention to level of detail.
3. Manage the companies' bank accounts, including opening, closing, and maintenance of updated signature records.
4. Assist VP finance in monitoring and managing banking facilities, including renewals, interest payments, facilities draw downs and available headroom.
5. Manage Company's Working Capital position, coordinating closely with the AR/AP team and collaborating with B2B teams for collection patterns and insights.
6. Respond to and resolve banking related issues.
7. Coordinate with Holding Companies for Cash Flow submissions and Treasury related requirements.
8. Maintain and manage the accounting and reconciliation of all components relating to Cash & Bank and Borrowings.
9. Maintain and manage financial records, registers, logs and spreadsheets, along with other ad-hoc treasury/banking tasks.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

1. 5 years of experience in a position related to treasury operations, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
2. Work experience in a multinational or large business group.
3. Bachelor's degree.
4. Professional Qualification (CMA, CIMA).
5. Treasury qualification desirable.
6. Knowledge of finance instruments such as Letters of credit, Guarantees and Standby LCs.
7. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
8. Proficiency in communicating with management and teams across the company.
9. Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
10. Highly numerate, proactive and a self-starter.
11. Proficient with accounting and information management software.
12. Excellent in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
13. Good team player, self-motivating with an eye for detail.
