Job summary

  • Western education is a plus.

Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a Treasurer to join their growing and successful team.

Key duties and responsibilities;
  1. Responsible for capital structure and capital allocation
  2. Play a key role in credit rating, cost of capital, and overall balance sheet for the group and its subsidiaries
  3. Funding and investments including the development of investment vehicles to monetize real estate investments
  4. Cash and liquidity management
  5. Take the lead in financial risk management, including currency, interest, and credit risk
  6. Manage creditor relationships, including banks, fixed income investors, rating agencies, and relationship management
  7. Regularly present at the Group Board of Directors meetings on treasury and capital raising activities
  8. Re-engineer cash management setup through Global Currency Pooling and payment factories
  9. Manage company liquidity
  10. Monitor working capital management with a strong focus on setting Key Performance Indicators
  11. Responsible for monitoring requirements and establishing appropriate financing options
  12. Responsible for company capital structure at all levels, including dividend policy
  13. Implement Treasury Management System
Qualifications and experience required;
  1. A degree in Accounting
  2. CRP or CPA, CA
  3. Western Education is a plus
  4. Preferably an Arabic speaker
  5. MUST have experience in Real Estate & Construction
