POSITION

Travel Butler / PA

LOCATION

Fujairah / UAE

The client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Travelling Butler provides seamless personalised service to the principal while accompanying them across multiple international and domestic locations. This role ensures the highest standards of hospitality, discretion, and efficiency, managing a range of personal and household services including travel arrangements, wardrobe management, event coordination, and day-to-day lifestyle needs. The Traveling Butler acts as a trusted, adaptable, and discreet point of contact for all personal support requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS

  • Certification from a recognised institution or school
  • Diploma or higher education in hotel management, hospitality management, management, or psychology
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • First aid certification
  • Multilingual skills preferred
  • EU passport holder

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a butler, personal assistant, or similar high-level service role, ideally with experience in luxury travel
  • Proven track record of working with UHNW clients in multiple countries or multicultural environments; experience coordinating luxury accommodations, private travel, fine dining service, and event planning
  • Familiarity with household and staff management in settings such as villas, private estates, and hotels

DUTIES

  • Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality in all personal and professional matters
  • Provide high-level personal service at all times, including formal dining, valet assistance, and daily lifestyle support
  • Ensure professional appearance and behavior, acting as a trusted representative of the client
  • Plan and manage travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transfers, and activities
  • Handle packing, unpacking, wardrobe organization, laundry, and care of luxury clothing and accessories
  • Oversee and coordinate household staff, hotel personnel, chauffeurs, and security teams
  • Support the client during events, meetings, or trips by providing onsite assistance, setup, and coordination, utilizing technology and smart home systems to manage household and travel logistics
  • Keep detailed inventories of personal items, clothing, travel supplies, and valuables
  • Remain organized, punctual, and calm in high-pressure or rapidly changing environments
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with the client and service providers
  • Assist with pet care, child support, and other personal needs as required while traveling
  • Handle shopping errands and personal tasks discreetly and efficiently
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver proactive, attentive service
  • Adapt easily to different environments, cultures, and schedules, always remaining flexible
