We are a company dealing with luxury products and has presence in GCC Travel Retail sector and this role is to lead and manage the overall operations and sales for Travel Retail in the Middle East and Africa
- Overall Operations & Sales for Travel Retail. Monitoring the process of execution from LPO proposal to merchandising
- Analyzing the stock & sales for all the Duty Frees & communicate requirements, if there are any, supporting customers and buyers and offering the best possible service.
- Ensuring execution of all promotional plans as decided and agreed.
- Maintaining all product reports & monitoring related issues.
- Work closely with the Head of Travel Retail to continually grow the Travel Retail Business for the Middle East & Africa and look for new opportunities and maintain the strategies set in place.
- Day to day managing of travel retail business in the region, supporting the Travel Retail Executives, coordinator and sales promoters, trouble shooting and ensuring stock levels are always maintained, and sales targets are met.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROCESSES:
- 1. Travel Retail Operation & Sales
- Monitoring on time proposals & delivery of stocks to the respective Duty Frees in the Middle East & Africa.
- Ensuring Customer Profiling is well maintained.
- Meeting the buyers to introduce new collections (UAE) or any other operational requirements
- Ensure Sell-in / Sell-outs to be maintained
- Follow up & ensure Sell-out budgets are met.
- Ensure Brand growth and work with Brand Managers to ensure the correct stocks are on the shop floor for respective customers.
2. Customer Relationship Management & BD
- Build and maintain strong Customer Relationships
- Handling day-to-day emails & enquiries
3. Meetings, Shop Visits & Exhibitions
- Bringing in market information & advice for changes in order to redefine processes & suggest Improvements.
- Shop Floor Visits to ensure merchandising is properly maintained
- Preparing & executing exhibitions & meetings in UAE.
- Attend local training in Duty Frees across the region.
- Attending any necessary customer, management & internal meetings
- Travel will be required as and when business demands
Education: Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of successful track record in sales experience in the travel retail industry.
Knowledge & Experience
- Sound knowledge and understanding of commercial operating principles, practices, and procedures in business.
- Strong Commercial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to build long lasting relationships
