Job description

As the Field Supervisor for Travel Retail, you will champion Puig's presence across duty-free outlets, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and driving sales, mainly within Dubai and Qatar airports. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor leading, coaching, driving sales, and engaging the Brand Representative team (BR), ensuring operational excellence, and following the brand's standards.

You will be based in Dubai, UAE (80% airport, 20% office), and you will be required to travel mostly to Qatar and occasionally to the rest of the GCC airports.

What you'll get to do
  1. Drive retail sales while delivering a best-in-class consumer experience. Review team sales productivity and performance regularly, identifying opportunities for optimal performance.
  2. Deliver retail operational excellence to ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
  3. Report feedback from the shop floor and maintain strong communication between BRs and the TRME Office team.
  4. Continuously report and follow up on needs on the shop floor (BR + consumer experience needs).
  5. Drive transactions and sales of the team to meet store sales targets.
  6. Support in implementing and tracking incentive plans for BRs.
  7. Monitor individual performance of each Brand Representative and coach for improvement.
  8. Create daily and weekly action plans to motivate the team and incentivize customers.
  9. Conduct performance reviews and regular team meetings.
  10. Create and promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
  11. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with retail partner management to leverage opportunities for the brand.
Training
  1. Provide live coaching on the shop floor to improve shopper experience and team capabilities.
  2. Focus on enhancing Consumer Experience and Fragrance Profiling skills for Niche BRs.
  3. Build confidence in artistry and cross-selling for makeup BRs.
  4. Coach prestige BRs on product knowledge, customer service, and selling skills.
  5. Track and monitor BR knowledge, skills, and performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  6. Work with the Education Manager to develop training plans and focus areas.
  7. Support planning and execution of classroom and virtual training sessions.
In-store VM
  1. Ensure merchandising standards are met and optimize VM with local adaptations.
  2. Provide feedback to the Retail Design & VM Manager.
  3. Collaborate with the Retail Design/VM and Marketing teams on brand activations and in-store animations, creating action plans to motivate the team and drive traffic.

  1. Regional (ME) experience in a similar role within the beauty sector, ideally in Fragrance, with Travel Retail experience as an asset.
  2. Experience in field coaching, with strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  3. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  4. Ability to analyze figures and comment on reports.
  5. Ability to assess customer and staff needs and recommend solutions.
  6. Professional demeanor, flexibility, and positive handling of change.
  7. Willingness to work flexible schedules with extensive regional travel.
  8. Proficiency in Arabic, Russian, or Chinese is an asset to enhance communication and customer experience.
