Rahal is a growing travel platform designed to simplify and enhance how individuals and organizations manage travel within and across cities.

From transportation to accommodation and everything in between, Rahal enables efficient, reliable, and tech-enabled travel coordination.

As we scale, we’re looking for a Travel Operations Specialist who can manage, coordinate, and support daily travel logistics and ensure a smooth experience for our clients.

Role Overview

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for handling end-to-end travel arrangements through the Rahal, ensuring a high standard of service and operational efficiency.

This includes booking, coordination, issue resolution, and support for both internal and external users.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth daily operations, resolving travel-related issues, and ensuring that every journey booked through Rahal is seamless and reliable.

Responsibilities

Providing excellent customer service to corporate clients, travel arranges, and individual travelers

Confirming and completing reservations according to internal standards

Managing client requests, providing an efficient and personalized service which caters to international corporate clients’ needs

Coordinate and book transportation and accommodation arrangements, including but is not limited to (flights, trains, car rentals and hotels).

Arrange and ensure all bookings align with client preferences and policies.

Handle and resolve travel-related issues and emergencies promptly.

Maintain and update travel itineraries and documentation (invoices, booking conformations, etc.)

Communicate effectively with clients to confirm details and provide travel support.

Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations.

Manage changes, cancellations, and special requests and handle emergency situations with professionalism

Private or professional experience related to organizing travels

Excellent English and Arabic communication skills, both verbal and written (daily work in English)

Effectiveness in negotiations and decision-making

Excellent Self-management and good organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and with confidence to create a positive company image

Initiative and willingness to constantly learn and develop

Proficiency in travel booking software and tools.

Ability to handle travel-related issues calmly and efficiently.

Knowledge of travel policies, regulations, and best practices.

Proficient in GDSs including Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre, with a strong track record of accurate and efficient reservation management.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Location :

The work mode is to be on-site, full-time in Baghdad, Iraq

Stay updated on travel regulations and safety protocols

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Arrange high level business trips with the ability to be adaptive in changing
