Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Must be aware of all aspects of the excursions program with relation to the tours sold on board.
  2. The overall responsibility of the Travel Desk / Experience Advisor is the day operation of the Sales program.
  3. Sell tours to guests, generating revenue for the company.
  4. Provide information to guests on tours available to promote tour sales.
  5. Assist guests with questions relating to excursions and offer help with any special requests.
  6. Ensure that the monthly sales target has been achieved.
  7. Send daily sales report to the Experience Manager.
  8. Enter all the bookings made at the same time.
  9. Follow up with the finance department regarding the cash payment.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in customer service roles in the Destination Management / travel and tourism industry.
  2. Sound knowledge of UAE destinations would be an advantage.
  3. Excellent selling and promotional skills.
  4. Good product knowledge and handling the overall operation of the sales programs.
  5. Resilient and flexible approach with the ability to respond to customer and company needs.

This position is under the supervision of the In Destinations Sales Manager, from whom all directives are given.
