A leading company in the Emirates seeks a transportation fleet coordinator to manage vehicle provision and driver oversight. The role involves planning, monitoring fleet usage, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and relevant experience in logistics.
Job Purpose
To coordinate and oversee the processes involved with the transportation fleet and provide safe and reliable transport to enterprise employee’s corporate use.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Vehicle Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ensure provision of vehicles addressing organizational requirements and needs.
• Plan vehicle fleet new, replacement and maintenance.
• Monitor vehicles usage through IVMS system.
• Monitor vehicles utilization by departments.
• Review vehicles maintenance schedule and conduct physical inspection of vehicles fleet.
• Monitor petrol/car wash cards usage per vehicle;
Drivers Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Manage drivers through day-to-day work.
• Arrange drivers working schedule in line with OSHAD Drivers Fatigue Guideline; monitor monthly working hours
and overtime report.
• Ensure all drivers completed necessary set of trainings related to their duties.
• Review and approve drivers planned annual leaves; arrange replacements whenever required.
• Coordinate and conduct regular meetings with drivers to ensure they are aligned with teslam strategy
Administration
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Coordinate the work of Fleet Admin in daily booking requests and drivers scheduling.
• Review and monitor Fleet Admin’s reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders;
• Complete monthly reporting on transportation fleet usage and prepare invoices payments accordingly.
• Monitor and ensure all necessary passes are valid and renewed on time (CICPA, Salik, et);
• Prepare and report to HSE on transportation fleet utilization through IVMS (safety, environmental petrol usage);
• Report to Head, Manager and Director on transportation fleet utilization, propose plans to decrease costs and
increase efficiency.
• Manage supplier agreements, negotiate deliverables, renew agreements, and prepare tender documentation
whenever required.
• Ensure to comply with HSE requirements and guidelines
