Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in road transportation or fleet operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in management, with relevant UAE experience.
• Certification in Fleet Management, Transport Safety, Defensive Driving, or Supply Chain is preferred.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control transportation capacity, routes, dispatching, driver allocation, and delivery execution across the UAE.
• Manage owned fleet and subcontracted carriers, including service levels, rates, permits, documentation, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE federal and emirate-level transport, road, safety, vehicle, and driver requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with transport authorities, fleet providers, workshops, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate cross-border transportation and documentation with KSA operations, customs brokers, and regional partners.

Role Purpose

Manage transportation operations in the UAE, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and reliable fleet and subcontracted transport services supporting gateway, freight forwarding, warehousing, and customer requirements.

Key Activities

• Plan and control transportation capacity, routes, dispatching, driver allocation, and delivery execution across the UAE.
• Manage owned fleet and subcontracted carriers, including service levels, rates, permits, documentation, and performance. Provide timely reports and elevate capacity, safety, compliance, cost, and service risks.
• Ensure compliance with UAE federal and emirate-level transport, road, safety, vehicle, and driver requirements. Maintain effective relationships with transport authorities, fleet providers, workshops, and subcontractors.
• Control fleet utilization, fuel, tolls, maintenance, idle time, empty kilometers, claims, fines, and transport cost.
• Coordinate cross-border transportation and documentation with KSA operations, customs brokers, and regional partners. Lead incident management, service recovery, and corrective actions while developing supervisors, dispatchers, and drivers. Use transport management systems, telematics, route optimization, and driver data to improve efficiency and control.
