Position: Senior Transport Executive / Senior Operations Executive/ Assistant Manager Transport/ Transport Manager /

A Transport Manager for a vehicle transport company oversees the Procurement of vehicles, planning, execution, and optimization of all transportation activities, including vehicle movement, and compliance with relevant regulations. They ensure efficient and cost-effective vehicle transportation, focusing on safety, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle procurement of vehicles, spare parts, tires, fuel, and maintenance services.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.

Sourcing new vendors and clients and closing deals

Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

Negotiate contracts with carriers and service providers.

Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

· Planning and Scheduling:

Develop and implement transportation plans, optimize routes, and schedule vehicle movements to ensure timely and efficient delivery of vehicles.

Manage all aspects of vehicle logistics, including loading, unloading, and storage, ensuring efficient and secure handling.

Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 3–6 years of experience in trucking transport operations and procurement.

· Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC transport laws, vehicle compliance, and route planning.

· Proficiency in ERP/logistics software, MS Excel, and tracking systems.

· Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
