Tanqeeb seeks an experienced Translator to produce accurate Arabic–English translations across corporate and government materials in Abu Dhabi. Native Arabic and excellent English are essential, with attention to tone and meaning.

Responsibilities include translating reports and policies, reviewing proofs, maintaining terminology databases, and offering interpretation support for meetings. Confidentiality and high linguistic quality are required.

Qualifications

Role Purpose

The Translator will be responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality translations between Arabic and English across a variety of corporate, government, and executive communication materials. The role requires exceptional language proficiency, cultural awareness, and attention to detail to ensure all translated content maintains its original meaning, tone, and intent.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents from Arabic to English and English to Arabic, including reports, correspondence, presentations, policies, speeches, media materials, and executive communications.
• Review and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and linguistic quality.
• Adapt translations to suit the intended audience while preserving the original meaning and context.
• Support the preparation of bilingual communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain terminology databases and ensure consistent use of approved organizational terminology.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand translation requirements and deadlines.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings and events when required.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information and documents.
• Assist with quality assurance reviews of externally translated materials.
• Stay updated on language trends, terminology, and best practices in translation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic Language, English Language, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of professional translation experience, preferably within a government, corporate, or public sector environment. Native-level proficiency in Arabic and excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Experience translating executive, legal, policy, or corporate communications documents is highly desirable.
