Work Management

Shape the change agenda for WBG, including Investment and Transaction Banking, Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Asset Management, and Global Markets. Collaborate with Group Heads and their teams to prioritize key change initiatives aligned with CBD's strategic goals.

Manage a portfolio of multiple projects, overseeing interdependencies, resourcing, and changes affecting project priorities.

Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders across business units and external vendors, ensuring clear communication of portfolio activities.

Identify resource needs in line with the project portfolio plan.

Facilitate Steering Committees with Executive Committee members to ensure strategic projects stay on track.

Ensure the accuracy of project charters, business requirement documents, and project reviews, including change impact assessments and project plans.

Advise on business cases and UAT strategies, supporting Group Heads and teams in their implementation.

Translate business analysis, requirements, and business cases into practical solutions.

Manage senior stakeholder relationships to resolve conflicts or disagreements about project priorities.

Design strategies for change adoption, including training and communication plans.

Ensure portfolio resources are adequate to support operational and strategic capabilities.

Provide coaching and guidance to business units to enhance project and change management effectiveness and governance.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to the bank and its projects.

Comply with the latest guidelines issued by the Central Bank of UAE.

Contribute to successful internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit points through procedural adjustments.

Skills and Experience

A postgraduate degree in business management is a plus.

Minimum of 8 years of banking experience.

Preferably 10+ years of relevant experience in project/change management within financial institutions.
