Join our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training, Group Security Command Center, Airport Security Unit, Crime Prevention & Investigation Unit, Threat & Risk Assessment Unit, Aviation Security Compliance, Assurance & Regulation, and Business Support Unit, all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies. The Training Specialist for Ground Personnel is responsible for security training content development and delivery to ground personnel in line with the Group's values, regulatory requirements, international standards, and best practices. The role also includes managing trainer performance and development to ensure high standards of training delivery. Additionally, the Training Specialist promotes security awareness and security training to safeguard the Group's employees, customers, properties, assets, and brand.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver training to ground personnel, promote security awareness, and enhance knowledge and understanding to ensure trainees have the skills and knowledge to help prevent and manage acts of unlawful interference.
  • Ensure training content complies with relevant regulatory requirements and Emirates Group Security standards, including but not limited to EK AOSP, NCASP, NCASTP, NCASQCP, NCASSCP, ICAO Annex 17, IOSA, ISAGO, TSA MSP/ACISP, and EU Implementing Regulation.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis to review and update training materials to meet learners' and the business's needs. Design and review course materials, identify and address short- and long-term training requirements based on security incidents and events.
  • Identify and utilize training delivery methods that maximize learner abilities through ongoing evaluation of course design and delivery methods. Use post-course evaluation and advancements in training techniques to improve training continuously.
  • Create, review, and update course assessments to measure learner abilities and knowledge. Provide remedial training when necessary. Update assessment content when changes occur.
  • Ensure current and new trainer development to maintain high standards of training delivery and productivity.
  • Provide guidance through regular observations and timely feedback.
  • Manage trainer performance, observe training sessions, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews in line with Emirates Group Security Training procedures and corporate standards.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, including other Group Security Units, Emirates Airport Services, Group Learning & Talent, and Group Safety.
  • Ensure trainer qualifications are maintained per regulatory requirements. Engage in continuous professional development, update knowledge and skills, and identify individual development needs to meet development plans.
  • Suggest initiatives, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery within budget. Contribute to budget planning for projects and other requirements to the Training Manager Security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 5+ years' experience in Security (General)
  • Experience in Aviation Security & Security Training
  • Knowledge of international Aviation Security regulations & requirements
  • Knowledge of training course design & performance management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient in business writing skills
