Job description

  • Training Needs Analysis:
    Assess training needs across departments.
    Identify skill gaps and recommend suitable interventions.
  • Program Design & Implementation:
    Design and deliver tailored training programs for UAE Nationals.
    Develop training content aligned with oil & gas industry standards.
  • Competency-Based Training Management:
    Lead and manage the CBT (Competency-Based Training) program.
    Ensure CBT initiatives align with the company’s Emiratisation goals.
  • Policy & Strategy Support:
    Provide input and support in developing training-related policies and procedures.
    Ensure compliance with organizational training frameworks.
  • Training Delivery:
    Facilitate in-house workshops, seminars, and practical sessions.
    Conduct post-training evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Budget & Cost Management:
    Prepare training budgets and cost forecasts.
    Monitor training expenses and ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    Maintain detailed records of employee training, certifications, and development progress.
    Generate training progress reports for management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Gender & Language: Male candidate who is fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Experience:
    10 to 15 years
    of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
    Proven track record in managing training and development functions.
  • Industry Exposure: Strong understanding of Competency-Based Training programs and Emiratisation initiatives.
  • Age: Between 35 to 45 years preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Familiarity with competency frameworks and employee development systems.
    Strong understanding of training program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel offshore occasionally as per job requirements.
