HETL Terminals
Job Purpose
Coordination, planning and implementation of the terminals annual training needs with internal and external stakeholders. Delivery of competency based trainings and development of UAE nationals training program
Principal Accountabilities
1. C Mist competency based training program:
a. Conduct classroom theory trainings and assess through written exams for operators, shift supervisors and shift superintendents.
b. Conduct on-the-job practical trainings and assessments on the field.
c. Assess operating staff on procedures and work instructions.
d. Conduct Jet A-1 trainings for operators, shift supervisors and shift superintendents for certification and assess them prior to external assessment.
e. Conduct operations general awareness and training to nominees from external and/or group companies.
2. General Coordination:
In coordination with different ENOC internal departments such as L&T, Maintenance, EPCL, EHS and external such as MARCOM, Training Centers:
a. Arrange trainings as per the requirement and individual KPI s.
b. Develop Electrical & Instrumentation and Mechanical Department training program.
c. Arrange for Marine EHS training.
d. Arrange training on EPCL facility such as loading arms and Y/V valves.
e. With external training centers: to arrange certificates for the completed course and update the L&T department and system.
f. Plan and Schedule internal EHS training.
g. Conduct Proficiency tests such as English, Math s or Science during upon requirement.
3. Developing/Amending course materials:
a. Develop and Update training course materials for each department based on requirement and nature of job.
b. Train employees and update system for all addition or modification in terminal facilities.
c. Generate questionnaire related to theory, work instruction and procedures for different departments.
d. Responsible to prepare Training Presentations.
Additional Principal Accountabilities
1. Planning/Scheduling:
a. Responsible to prepare and schedule periodical training plan.
b. Responsible to prepare training schedules for external trainees.
2. Nationals Development Programs:
a. Coordinate with Career & Competency Development Department and HETL management and assist the staff in preparation of individual career development plans.
b. Maintain up to date records of the National Development programs such as but not limited to TADREEB, AJYAAL, MAWAHEB, etc..
c. As applicable and when needed participate in GAP Assessments for Nationals and report the results to department manager making recommendations and arranging special training sessions.
3. Audits:
a. Assist the internal and the external auditing in operations department by providing relevant data, explaining the training programs to internal and external auditors.
b. Participate in internal audit as an internal auditor for departments in HETL.
4. Maintaining and updating training records:
a. Maintain all individual internal and external training records for the different departments in HETL.
b. Prepare and manage the training feedback forms for all training conducted and update HETL management with the feedback.
c. Update master list of documents and collect acknowledgement from the staffs.
d. Custodian of general guidelines and standards for training purpose.
5. Generating reports:
a. Submit monthly and adhoc training records and reports such as but not limited to staff individual training report, departmental training hours for KPI, etc.. to HETL management.
b. Conduct random on job assessments for trainees on procedures and work instructions and report to HETL management.
6. Safety & IMS
a. Comply and implement Safety and IMS policies and maintain high level of emergency preparedness. Monitor IMS programs and maintain required quality records.
Strictly follow EHS instructions while Adhering to the laid down quality and control procedures. Encourage safety culture and stop/report any unsafe acts and behavior.
Experience
University degree in related technical field
Minimum 6 years experience in oil and gas industry out of which of minimum 3 years experience in conducting theory and on job technical training.
Experience in training and development of UAE nationals
Experience in Safety, Health and Environment area
Fluent in English communication and good presentation skills.
• Sound knowledge in windows Excel, Word and Power Point
