As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Sustain the property s annual training strategy in alignment with brand standards and luxury service expectations
  • Lead training efforts to ensure compliance with FORBES Travel Guide service standards, brand audit requirements, and guest experience goals
  • Conduct property-wide training needs analysis to identify development gaps and performance improvement areas
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, including onboarding, service excellence, leadership development, and brand-specific modules
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to roll out job-specific and cross-training programs effectively
  • Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, performance KPIs, and observation-based assessments
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and employee engagement
  • Maintain and update training documentation, records, and reports in line with compliance standards
  • Partner with HR to support talent development, career progression, and succession planning
  • Stay current on hospitality trends, FORBES updates, and incorporate best practices into the learning strategy

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Hospitality, HR, Education, or related field
  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience in training or learning & development, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort
  • Knowledge of FORBES Travel Guide standards and experience delivering related training is highly preferred
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills
  • Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and brand-specific frameworks
  • Certified trainer preferred (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, AHLEI, FORBES STAR Trainer)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • High emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and passion for people development
