Job description

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a leading Food Manufacturing company. We are looking for a Trainee Process Operator (Air Chiller) for operating and maintaining cooling and freezing equipment including refrigerators, batch freezers, and freezing tunnels.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate complex equipment and production lines and prepare complex products.
2. Read and understand safety, quality, and operational procedures.
3. Read and understand complex equipment manuals.
4. Perform regular machine condition checks.
5. Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per standard PM checklists.
6. Prepare materials and assemble equipment before starting up the line.
7. Monitor the performance of production equipment and adjust parameters as per the standards procedures.
8. Participate in minor maintenance tasks during troubleshooting and mechanical repair activities.
9. Escalate any process non-conformance, safety, food safety, or quality issues to the leader, maintenance team, or supervisor.
10. Assist the production supervisor in achieving scheduling requirements.
11. Fill and interpret control charts for productivity systems.
12. Order materials.
13. Prevent loss of products and process waste.
14. Minimize scrap and rework generation.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 7 years of production experience in the Meat & Poultry Processing Industry.
2. At least 5 years as an Operator/Technician in multinational companies.
3. Diploma or High School qualification.
4. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
