Job Description
Summary
This growing crypto trading firm has seen steady growth over the last 3-4 years - not being adversely affected by the wild swings in crypto success due to their robust and sensible strategies. Hugely tech-driven, they have been developing and improving HFT algorithms for more than 10 years, with a tech team boasting engineers from some of the top market makers and hedge funds globally.
They're now looking for an experienced engineer to join the brand-new Trading Operations team, responsible for ensuring optimal trading operations and reacting promptly to issues. This is a pivotal role, where you'll work closely with traders and developers to automate workflows, improve system reliability & efficiency, and tackle complex challenges within the HFT space.

Skills and Experience Required
3-5 years' experience in software engineering or IT
Strong Python scripting knowledge, for automation & tooling
Proficiency with Linux systems, including shell scripting and networking.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related) from a top-tier university
Strong teamwork and communication skills, including clear and concise documentation
Commitment to work in shifts and be part of an on-call rota is essential to ensure continuous operation of trading infrastructure
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, ElasticSearch or ClickHouse)
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible and CI/CD systems)
Basic experience with AWS cloud services
