Job summary

Americana Foods in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Paralegal - Trademarks & Compliance to support management of the GCC trademark portfolio and related compliance matters. The role works with internal teams and external trademark agents to safeguard brand rights and ensure regulatory alignment.

You will maintain records, monitor renewals, and assist with governance and policy reviews, contributing to effective Legal & Compliance support across the organization.

Qualifications

• Good practical understanding of trademark registration and portfolio-management processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and follow up with multiple stakeholders.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and expedite issues appropriately.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal or trademark management systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GCC trademark portfolio management, including searches, applications, registrations, renewals, and related actions.
• Maintain accurate portfolio records, documents and deadlines on the management platform.
• Liaise with internal teams and external trademark agents on filings and portfolio needs.
• Monitor trademark watch notices and support opposition and enforcement matters.
• Coordinate trademark-related documentation, including powers of attorney and legalization requirements.
• Review and process invoices from trademark agents and track costs.
• Prepare periodic trademark portfolio and cost updates for the Legal team.
• Support administration of compliance programmes and maintenance of trackers and supporting documents.
• Assist with compliance declarations, training, due diligence and governance documentation.
