Job description

Our Client, a leading retail company in Dubai, is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the GM, the job purpose will be to develop and implement an effective marketing strategy and ensure customer marketing plans are fully integrated with the brand marketing plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. To increase market share by brand building and awareness in order to support achieving company objectives.
  2. Execute, control, and manage consumer promotions to achieve marketing objectives.
  3. Development and implementation of POS for NPDs and for other opportunities as per trade requirement, in-store animation implementation for NPDs with sales team coordination.
  4. Development of a trade promotional plan with key customers and channels, ensuring the Key Accounts Calendar is followed and creating new promotions to increase sales.
  5. Working closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance.
  6. Manage and evaluate trade promotion levels to achieve maximum return on investments.
  7. Generate brand awareness with in-store animation activities to be dominant against competitors.
  8. Monitoring competitors' activities to plan response action plans.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar from a recognized university or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience: 4 to 5 years experience in Trade Marketing with a recognized business.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNICATION
Working Environment: Office and Field.
Internal Relationships: General Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Operation Manager.
External Relationships: Section managers, Department Head, Senior buyers, Buyers, Merchandise manager, Retailers floor sales staff, Marketing Agencies, Brand Principal.
