Job description

We are working with a global leader in the trading of base and bulk metals, with an established presence across key markets including Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. As they continue to expand their footprint in the iron ore sector, they are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Trade Finance Executive to join their team and support the financing, documentation, and execution of their international trade flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade finance operations for physical iron ore trades, including issuance of Letters of Credit, Standby LCs, and Bank Guarantees
• Liaise with counterparties, internal trading and operations teams, and global banking partners to ensure timely financing and documentation of trades
• Review and negotiate trade finance terms in commercial contracts to align with credit lines, operational requirements, and risk appetite
• Structure and monitor borrowing base and inventory financing facilities related to iron ore shipments
• Track shipping documentation, payment terms, and collections in coordination with logistics and settlement teams
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, KYC/AML requirements, and applicable international trade regulations
• Assist treasury and risk teams with exposure tracking, cash forecasting, and credit utilisation reporting
