Job summary

Remote DXB in Dubai seeks a finance professional to review logistics invoices, verify pricing, Incoterms and contract terms, and prepare payments.

You will reconcile balances with counterparties, monitor settlements, and support month-end closures while ensuring accurate cost and revenue allocation. Strong Excel, attention to detail, and clear communication with international counterparties are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics and commodities trading.
• Understanding of Incoterms, trade lifecycle, and shipping documentation.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify logistics-related invoices against contracts and supporting documents
• Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, Incoterms, and contractual conditions
• Prepare and submit invoices for payment in line with internal procedures
• Perform operational reconciliation of balances with counterparties and service providers
• Consolidate mutual settlements and monitor open positions across contracts and shipments
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, logistics costs, and quality claims
• Liaise with Operations, logistics, and counterparties to clarify financial issues
• Support contract execution by aligning financial aspects with shipment documents
• Work with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure proper cost and revenue allocation
• Support month-end closing with reconciliations and accruals
• Maintain accurate trade-related financial data in internal files and CRM
