Job summary

Remote DXB in Dubai is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead financial reporting and consolidation. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance, and support close processes.

Responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and collaborating with auditors while mentoring junior staff. CPA is preferred, with ERP experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist month-end and year-end close with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support budget planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
