We are currently looking for a Trade and Tender Manager to join our Sales Team.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and driving all activities related to tenders contracts and trade operations for Labatec Pharma. This role ensures the company’s products achieve maximum exposure and access in the government sector as well as building commercial agreements with private Key accounts while maintaining profitability and regulatory standards.
You will report to the Regional Manager of the GCC region in UAE and work closely with the Logistics, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs Departments.
Your key responsibilities
With solid technical knowledge of the pharmaceutical field (Pharmacy, medical or similar background) previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry (as a sales rep, trade and tender management or market access) and excellence in project management the Trade and Tender Manager will be able to:
Tender Management
- Actively monitor and identify tender opportunities in the UAE market.
- Maintain a tender calendar to ensure timely submissions.
- Actively set market access strategy to enlist company strategic products within the Authority.
- Support pricing and reimbursement for all key Labatec products ensuring timely price and reimbursement submissions.
- Lead the preparation, documentation, and submission of tenders in compliance with legal and organizational guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required data for tender bids including product registration, pricing, and technical details.
- Ensure tenders meet regulatory and governmental standards.
- Manage and update tender-related documentation, contracts, and compliance protocols.
Trade Operations
- Negotiate pricing structures, discounts, and trade agreements with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with procurement officers, distributors, wholesalers, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison for key trade partners and Key chain accounts clients.
- Conduct competitor analysis to understand market pricing and trends.
Data and Reporting
- Prepare periodic reports on tender wins, trade performance, and profitability and share it with the direct manager.
- Track KPIs including success rates in tenders and sales performance in the trade segment.
- Ensure proper documentation of contracts and agreements.
Relationship Management
- Represent the company in external meetings and discussions related to tenders and trade deals.
- Follow up, monitor, and meet deadlines of all tender and trade agreements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align trade terms and customer needs with company objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
We are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or equivalent with a strong scientific background in pharmaceutical molecules is a prerequisite.
- A master's degree (MBA, Health Economics, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in trade and tender management in the pharmaceutical industry within the UAE market.
- Proven track record of successfully managing tenders and negotiating trade contracts.
- Strong knowledge of tender submission processes, regulations, and pricing models.
- Familiarity with UAE governmental and institutional procurement procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze market data and create actionable strategies.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple tenders and trade projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tender portals.
- Excellent spoken and written English; Native Arabic speaker.
