Job Title: Coordinator - Quality (TPI Coordinator)
Key Responsibilities
- Act as focal point for coordination of worldwide inspection related activities with Vendor, Inspection agency, Inspectors, Company, and Client.
- Maintain records of inspection agencies and personnel approval along with their CV and credentials.
- Acquire the suitable CV from TPIA for specific inspections and ensure timely deployment of TPIA.
- Maintain database to monitor performances of resident inspector / TPI inspector and provide inputs to SQMS coordinator for periodic data analysis for improvement.
- Assign Inspectors and supervise inspections in consultation with respective discipline inspectors.
- Ensure inspectors always have the latest approved documents for their use during inspections.
- Coordinate with the respective discipline Quality Engineer to ensure all relevant documents (PO, PR, data sheets, drawings, procedures, ITP, WPS, PQR, etc.) are provided to assigned inspectors.
- Establish a tracking system (e.g., PPCS) for inspection notifications and execution until release note issuance.
- Coordinate with TPIA on inspection assignments and receive flash reports, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare weekly and monthly inspection status reports, including a 4-week look-ahead inspection schedule.
- Maintain inspection logs with details such as PO, inspection stage, agency, visit dates, inspection level, status, report received date, release note info, punch list, invoice references, etc.
- Review inspection reports submitted by inspectors and forward to relevant Quality Engineers, acting upon their comments or feedback.
- Coordinate among all parties involved (Quality Engineers, PMT, Engineering Discipline, Construction, Commissioning, Inspection agencies, Company, TPI, etc.) regarding inspections.
- Communicate inspection notifications, activities, changes, and reports to all stakeholders promptly.
- Coordinate invoice approvals from inspection agencies and monitor inspection budgets and performance.
- Keep records of all vendor inspection documents (RFI, Flash Reports, Inspection Reports, Test reports, Punch lists, IRNs, etc.) for each PO in the project folder.
- Work closely with inspectors and quality engineers to close inspector comments and ensure all comments are addressed. Ensure updated IRs and test reports are stored properly.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection logs with all relevant information.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Graduate in Science or Business Management, or Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a TPI Coordinator in major EPC contractors, preferably in Oil & Gas, Onshore / Offshore projects.
