TOOLMAKER

Completed apprenticeship as a toolmaking technician with 5 years of experience.

Knowledge acquired during the apprenticeship includes CAM and CAD skills.

Job Summary

This role involves the production, maintenance, and servicing of tools and equipment such as plastic, stamping, special (Bihler), and welding electrodes, essential for production and manufacturing facilities, including special machines.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform workbench activities necessary to achieve job objectives.
  2. Operate hand-held tools and conventional machine tools like milling, turning, grinding, drilling, die-sinking, and wire erosion.
  3. Collaborate with tool design and other departments on continuous improvement, development, and error analysis of tools and devices.
  4. Manage maintenance plans for machine tools.
  5. Conduct test punching, sampling, and produce prototype parts.
  6. Work efficiently and economically, adhering to requirements and standards.
  7. Respond quickly to tool breakages to prevent production downtimes.
  8. Work effectively in a team, demonstrating willingness for further training, accuracy, independence, and strong quality awareness.
  9. Supervise machine tools, and perform service and workbench activities according to shift requirements.
Qualifications
  • Completed apprenticeship as a toolmaking technician.
  • Five years of relevant experience.
  • Technical knowledge including CAM and CAD skills acquired during apprenticeship.
  • Soft skills such as teamwork, flexibility, motivation, ability to work under pressure, and analytical thinking.
