Job summary

Mintlayer is seeking a Tokenomics Strategist to model and optimize the ML tokenomics framework upgrade. You will design supply schedules, staking mechanics, inflation parameters, and governance weight structures while shaping incentive designs for the Token Factory and issuer programs.

You will also develop institutional-grade token models, assess regulatory treatment, and produce health reports for investors and the community. Collaboration with the Capital Strategy team is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior tokenomics design experience on a live protocol with real on-chain activity.
• Strong financial modeling in Excel and Python required.
• Understanding of token-to-equity conversion structures and vesting mechanics.
• Familiarity with at least one regulatory framework for token classification.

Responsibilities

• Model and optimize the ML tokenomics framework upgrade.
• Define supply schedule and staking mechanics.
• Set inflation parameters and governance weight design.
• Design token incentive structures for Token Factory and issuer incentives.
• Model liquidity provider rewards and ecosystem grant allocations.
• Develop Interest One fund token structures and vesting schedules.
• Analyze regulatory treatment and maintain tokenomics health reports.
• Produce institutional-grade tokenomics documentation for investors and community audiences.
• Advise Head of Capital Strategy on ML token treasury strategy.
