Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai invites applications for a Registered Midwife to provide comprehensive maternity care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based, patient-centric care and uphold regulatory and Mediclinic standards.

The role requires a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least two years of labour and delivery experience, along with strong communication and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Nursing or Midwifery.
• Minimum two years of current/recent experience as Registered Midwife in Labour and Delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication; commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum women and neonates with the team.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks per risk policies and legislation.
• Create a positive patient and family experience under nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of nursing interventions compliant with company standards and legal requirements.
• Mentor and coach learners and staff to build competence within the unit.
• Utilise stock and equipment efficiently per Mediclinic guidelines.

Main Purpose of Job

To provide and coordinate patient-centric and evidence based midwifery care by ensuring compliance to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company

Key Responsibility Areas

• To deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum women and neonates in collaboration with the multi professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• To facilitate positive patient and family experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership
• To provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions according to company standard and legal requirements
• To create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
• To utilise all required stock and equipment efficiently, according to Mediclinic guidelines

Required Education
