Job summary

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a Sonography Specialist to perform diagnostic ultrasonography in line with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging and a postgraduate qualification in sonography or ultrasound, plus at least two years of relevant experience and strong English communication.

• Evaluation of diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, and patient history and medical records.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sonography procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients.
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed.

Main purpose of job

Required education

• A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution
• A post graduate qualification in sonography or ultrasound

Required experience

• At least 2 years' relevant experience in sonography
