Job summary

Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital in the United Arab Emirates seeks a qualified Radiographer/Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires delivering compassionate patient care, ensuring safety, and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory standards.

An appropriate degree and at least 2 years of experience are expected to support high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, Radiography or Medical Imaging with a post-primary certificate in Ultrasound.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in radiography or ultrasound.
• Fluent English with good written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographic and ultrasound procedures per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients.
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles are followed and equipment calibration is maintained.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform radiographic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in line with company standards and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Perform routine radiographic / ultrasound procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed

Required Education

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic ultrasound or Sonography or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging and a post primary certificate or diploma degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound

Required Experience

At least 2 years relevant experience in the field of expertise
