About the Role: ASME is currently seeking a diligent and organized Timekeeper to manage daily attendance, working hours, and manpower time tracking for our workforce, including in-house and outsourced labor. This position is critical to ensuring accurate payroll processing, project labor tracking, and compliance with site attendance protocols.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately record and maintain daily attendance records of blue-collar workers and subcontracted manpower.
Monitor in/out timing, absences, overtime, and shift schedules.
Coordinate with site supervisors, HR, and manpower supply agencies for daily manpower mobilization and deployment updates.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly timesheets and manpower reports.
Ensure timely data entry into ERP or internal systems to support payroll and project tracking.
Assist in the reconciliation of timesheets against approved work orders or job codes.
Maintain up-to-date records of leave balances, absenteeism, and overtime hours.
Use advanced MS Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and formulas) for reporting and analysis.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering, construction, marine, or industrial sectors.
Proven experience in handling blue-collar workforce attendance and coordination with manpower suppliers.
Strong knowledge of timekeeping procedures, documentation, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with good command of advanced formulas and reporting tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and site-based environment.
Strong communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is a plus).
