Ticketing and Travel Operations Specialist

A Veterinary Clinic Manager / Practice Manager at Emirates Park Zoo & Resort would have a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the veterinary clinic within the zoo and resort. This position requires a blend of veterinary knowledge, management skills, and a passion for animal care.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Oversee all veterinary procedures, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, ethically, and safely.
• Supervise the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures for a wide variety of species.
• Ensure that veterinary care meets international standards, including preventative care, emergency services, and disease management.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other support staff.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training opportunities for the veterinary team.
• Schedule and assign duties to staff to ensure optimal clinic operations and emergency coverage.
• Manage the daily operations of the veterinary clinic, including maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Oversee patient records and ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and confidential.
• Ensure the clinic meets all health and safety regulations and standards set by local authorities.
• Ensure the highest standards of animal care, from health checks and vaccinations to emergency medical treatments and surgeries.
• Prepare regular reports on, clinic performance, and any significant incidents for senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments within the EPZ and to support the overall mission.
• Develop relationships with external veterinary specialists and hospitals for advanced treatments and consultations when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with client regarding animal health and wellbeing.
• Ensure that all veterinary practices and procedures are in compliance with UAE regulations and international veterinary standards.
• Maintain accurate health and treatment records for all clients.

Requirements

Required qualifications :

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent clinical diagnostic skills and knowledge of veterinary procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, guests, and external stakeholders.
• Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM, BVSc, or equivalent).
• At least 5-7 years of experience as a veterinarian, with 2+ years in management role.
• Knowledge of veterinary hospital management systems and procedures.
