Job summary

Corporate Office - UAE - Dubai is seeking a laboratory technician to perform standard tests on components and systems, recording results and supporting engineering teams. You will operate test fixtures, assist with instrumentation, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants should hold a technical diploma and have 1–2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience. The role is on-site in Dubai within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years in a laboratory or manufacturing test environment advantageous.
• Basic proficiency with measurement tools and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Perform routine functional and environmental tests on products according to prescribed test plans and work instructions.
• Data Recording: Accurately record test results, log anomalies, and maintain detailed test records.
• Equipment Assistance: Assist senior technicians in setting up test fixtures, connecting instrumentation, and verifying basic equipment operation.
• Visual Inspection: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard gauges to detect defects and report non-conformities.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper use of PPE and disposal of test materials.

JOB PURPOSE:

To execute standard test procedures on components, products, and systems to verify functionality and quality, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to engineering specifications

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Test Execution
Perform routine functional and environmental tests on products according to prescribed test plans and work instructions
Data Recording
Accurately record test results, log anomalies, and maintain detailed test records in both paper and electronic formats
Equipment Assistance
Assist senior technicians in setting up test fixtures, connecting instrumentation, and verifying basic equipment operation
Visual Inspection
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard gauges to detect defects and report non-conformities
Safety Compliance
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper use of PPE and disposal of test materials

SPAN OF COMMUNICATION Internal:

Testing Supervisor, Senior Technicians, Engineering Teams External: Calibration service providers (as required)

Skills

Required Qualifications:
