Job Description

• System Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing, commissioning, and startup of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects (HVAC, fire protection, water supply, electrical, etc.).
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all testing and commissioning activities are carried out in line with the project specifications, design requirements, and regulatory codes.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all testing and commissioning activities, including test plans, reports, and certification of completed systems.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work with the project manager, contractors, design teams, and subcontractors to schedule testing and commissioning phases and resolve any issues that arise.
• System Performance Verification: Perform inspections, operational checks, and system performance verification to ensure the systems are functioning as intended.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any technical issues or non-conformance during the testing phase. Provide solutions to ensure smooth system operation before final handover.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements during testing and commissioning activities. Ensure the systems are safe, reliable, and meet all relevant standards.
• Client Handover: Coordinate with clients for final handover of the commissioned systems, providing necessary documentation, operational manuals, and training where required.
• Performance Optimization: Recommend improvements to optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of commissioning activities, highlighting any potential delays or issues that need attention.
• Support to Operations & Maintenance: Offer technical support to operations and maintenance teams post-commissioning, ensuring smooth system operation and handling of any issues that arise.
