Job description

VAM Systems is currently looking for a User Acceptance Test (UAT) Tester for our UAE operations, with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational role within the Healthcare or Insurance industry.
2. Strong understanding of core operational processes within the Healthcare/Insurance domain, including Claims processing, Lifecycle, Policy Management.
3. Experience in reviewing and implementing business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and quality standards.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts between business requirements, solutions implemented, and business owners' expectations.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on data quality and process integrity.
6. Excellent command of the English language, comfortable with technical and industry terminology.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage dependencies effectively.
8. Basic knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and tools (Jira, Manage Engine, Service Desk, Smartsheet).
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Timely completion of work items, adherence to timelines, test cycles, and progress schedules.
2. Adherence to PMO Test Documentation Standards and Project Management Practices.

Key Accountabilities:

Requirements Analysis & Testing:

1. Work closely with Functional Business Owners to understand business logic thoroughly.
2. Analyze and validate use cases, user stories, and requirements for completeness, accuracy, and testability.
3. Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
4. Identify and document gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies with Business Requirements or Solution Design.
5. Test the user interface (UI) for usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
6. Ensure the software meets quality standards and user expectations.

Communication, Collaboration, and Project Management:

1. Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the Team Leader, UAT Project Manager, and IT team.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, designers) for successful change requests and solution delivery.
3. Assist in UAT planning and execution, tracking activities and progress against timelines.
4. Document test cases and traceability throughout the testing lifecycle, following PMO standards.
5. Participate in business requirements elicitation, project meetings, and report creation as needed.
