Job description

VAM Systems is currently looking for a Tester - User Acceptance Test (UAT) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an operational role within the Healthcare or Insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of core operational processes within the Healthcare/Insurance domain, including Claims processing, Lifecycle, and Policy Management.
• Experience in reviewing and implementing business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts between business requirements, solutions implemented, and business owners' expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, focusing on data quality and process integrity.
• Excellent command of the English language, comfortable with technical and industry terminology.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage dependencies effectively.
• Basic knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and tools (Jira, ManageEngine, Service Desk, Smartsheet).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Timely completion of work items, adherence to timelines, test cycles, and scheduled progress.
• Adherence to PMO test documentation standards and project management practices.

Key Accountabilities:

Requirements Analysis & Testing:

• Work closely with Functional Business Owners to understand and become an expert in the underlying business logic.
• Analyze and validate use cases, user stories, and requirements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and testability.
• Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, including functional testing, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify and document any gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies with the approved Business Requirements or Solution Design.
• Test the user interface (UI) for usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Ensure the software meets defined quality standards and user expectations.

Communication, Collaboration, and Project Management:

• Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the Team Leader, UAT Project Manager, and IT team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, designers) to ensure successful change requests and solution delivery.
• Assist in developing UAT plans and executing them, tracking activities against timelines.
• Document test cases and traceability throughout the testing lifecycle as per PMO standards.
• Contribute to business requirements elicitation, project progress meetings, and report creation.
