KONE has an excellent opportunity for Field Support Technicians (testers) to join our team in Dubai.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

1. Caring about safety on site by applying good safety practices.

2. Managing onsite communication with the customer for day-to-day testing and commissioning activities, with continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor.

3. Testing the unit in accordance with codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe, meets internal and external KONE quality standards, and functions according to contractual requirements.

4. Commissioning the equipment according to agreed specifications and commissioning instructions.

5. Carrying out the final inspection and signing the final inspection documents.

6. Participating in notified bodies or consultant inspections and assisting in customer handovers if necessary.

7. Identifying installation quality issues and deviations requiring corrective actions, and reporting them to the Field Supervisor responsible for site activities.

8. Actively participating in quality working groups to improve based on snag lists, technical issues, and shared information.

9. Applying lean principles to avoid work interruptions and promoting huddles initiatives.
