Job summary

Synechron, a global technology consulting firm, is seeking a Test Lead – E2E Credit Decisioning to join the banking technology practice in Abu Dhabi. The role demands deep expertise in end-to-end testing, test strategy, and governance for complex credit decisioning platforms.

You will lead test teams, design test plans, oversee UAT, and ensure quality in Agile/hybrid delivery models. With 10+ years in software testing, UAE banking domain experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• ISTQB Advanced Level is strongly preferred; Foundation Level required.
• Credit or banking qualification (CFA, ACCA, CA) advantageous.
• PMP/PRINCE2 or Agile (CSM/PSM) certification advantageous.
• 10+ years in software testing with 6+ years in test lead capacity.
• Experience in credit processes within MSME, Mid Corporate and Large Corporate lending.

Job Summary:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager or Test Analyst) is strongly preferred; ISTQB Foundation Level is required as a minimum.
• A recognised credit or banking qualification (for example a bank credit skills certification, CFA, ACCA or CA) is advantageous.
• Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2, or Agile certification such as CSM or PSM, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience:

• 10+ years in software testing and quality assurance, of which at least 6 years in a test lead or test manager capacity with team management responsibility.
• Demonstrable functional expertise in credit processes and the business processes of MSME, Mid Corporate and Large Corporate lending, gained in a bank or on banking implementations.
• At least two end-to-end lending, loan origination or credit decisioning implementations taken from test planning through to Go-Live.
• Proven experience authoring a test strategy and master test plan that passed formal programme and audit scrutiny.
• Proven hands‑on test design and execution experience that has been retained rather than left behind on promotion.
• Experience testing integrations with external spreading and rating engines, credit bureaux, national identity services and partner lending platforms.
• Experience of non‑functional test oversight, sufficient to direct and challenge a specialist performance tester.
• Experience planning and leading UAT to a documented business acceptance decision.
• UAE or wider GCC banking experience is strongly preferred, with familiarity with UAE central bank regulatory expectations.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile, hybrid and vendor‑led delivery models.
• Arabic language ability is advantageous.
