Purpose of the job
- Promote and sell Barco IX products to end customers via existing and new resellers.
- Prospect, identify, and develop new sales opportunities at end customers in targeted markets and accounts.
- Establish a reseller network in the broader market for Barco.
Main accountabilities
- Achieve personal sales targets for Barco IX products.
- Define and onboard new resellers for Barco in the market. Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for these partners, devise a business plan including performance targets and investment plans, and review performance during quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Onboard and activate existing Barco resellers according to the target plan, collaborating with the existing Barco Account Manager to support these partners and opportunities.
- Support partners with technical and sales expertise on the Barco range, aiding in product specifications.
- Proactively deliver product training and updates to channel partners.
- Support lead generation activities such as shows, demonstrations, and sales floor engagement.
- Manage the process of lead distribution to partners.
- Market the company to ensure positive exposure and enhance brand image in the region.
- Follow up on leads identified at the end customer level by the Business Development team or from the consultant team; analyze customer needs and provide appropriate value propositions, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Keep all sales opportunities updated in the company's CRM system.
- Provide and achieve consolidated sales forecasts from partners' regions on a monthly basis, following Barco's financial forecasting methodology.
- Monitor technological and market factors, providing market intelligence to sales management and segment marketing teams.
Required competencies
Education :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent experience.
